Meet Aunty - our formidable Maori kuia - the "Voice" of the Z-Nail Gang. 

Aunty is no nonsense both in her quest to stop mining and to find a wahine for her nephew Pai. Played by Vanessa Rare (Shortland Street, Ruby & Rata), Aunty will slap you on one cheek and kiss you on the other.

Vanessa moved the crew to tears on more than one occasion with her powerful performances. Aunty's story is not to be missed!

Our wonderful Paul Ballard, marketing extraordinaire, has been putting together some fab character panels to introduce us to the wonderful array of characters that make up the Z-Nail Gang.

Over the coming weeks and months before we release the film, we'll give you some sneak peaks into this community, just so that you can get a little taste of what's in store. 

So, to kick things off... let me introduce you to Ned, our loveable and quirky rural postie. Ned is played by Paul and both on and off screen his eclectic range of talents never ceases to amaze!
